FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I have be getting many questions about the Luxury Locks brand, so I decided what better way to answer said questions then to have a whole page dedicated to answering all those questions.

1.) Why do you only sell raw Indian hair?

I sell this particular type of hair because raw, remy, Indian hair is the best hair that can be offered. Over 75% of human hair that is used for extensions comes for India in some way, shape or form. So rather than purchase hair that is from China and processed in various ways, mostly chemically altered. I made the choice to sell only the best hair there is to offer and that is Raw, Remy Indian Temple Hair.

2.) Why is there no Brazilian, Peruvian, South East Asian (SEA) or different origins on your site?

I don't sell these textures/origins because they are strictly for marketing purposes for the most part depending on the company. Origins like Brazilian, Peruvian or Malaysian are just for show. Rating systems like 7A are key terms that vendors use to determine the level of processing and remy to non-remy hair ratio, with the latter being the majority. These origin names are a key sign that the hair has been processed and is not raw hair.It has been soaked in an acid to strip the hair of it's cuticle to make it easier for the vendor to manipulate in certain textures and patterns. If it is "virgin" then that only means that hair has been steamed processed but will not last as long as raw hair because usually this not remy meaning that every cuticle of the hair is unaligned.

As far as South East Asian (SEA) hair is usually Indian Hair that can typically be remy or non-remy depending on the company and vendor. Sometimes, it can be from Vietnam, Cambodia or Korean but that also depends on the vendor and/or company. This hair can be hard to blend with various African American textures because of the density of the hair, unless your using a closure.

3.) Are you going to be selling your vendor information?

No, at this time I am not going to be selling my particular vendor's information. I have spent countless hours searching and researching for my vendor. I feel that you can do the same, I feel that if you work for something then you appreciate it more when you get it. But at the same time if you have any particular questions about a vendor feel free to ask, I will do my best to answer. However, I do offer kilograms of hair on my site for those that want to start their own businesses and there are various coupons codes that you can use to get a discount on the sale price. Check out my YouTube channel trailer/commercial for a code for 15% off any purchase. Also, be sure to subscribe because I will be doing videos about how to weed out bad vendors and what questions to ask.

4.) Do you sell closures or frontals?

No, at this time I am not because closures and frontal can be non-remy. Non-remy means that the hairs can lay any which way and are usually processed to get the texture it is meant to be matching. The process can be chemically or steamed but either way it can be hard to get the textures of the bundles and closures to match because literally every bundle and single hair is different. I am looking in the forward in the future to sell them, as well as various types of wigs.

5.) Where is your hair sourced from?

All of the luxury Locks brand hair is sourced from Southern India in my personal opinion they have the best temples and quality of hair they also do an excellent job of making sure each and every bundle is remy. Meaning, that each and every cuticle is laying the same way making for minimum shedding and tangling if any at all. Each bundle is sourced from local temples that only give remy hair due to the collection process and then they are sent to factories for cleaning, hackling, wefting and shipment. All parts of the "processing" part are done without any chemicals. Washing is done by hand and without chemicals only shampoo and conditioner, the vendor does this in a 8 cycle system. This means that every bundle is washed, conditioned and dried 8 times before I receive it to obtain maximum sanitation and cleanliness. I also wash and condition every single bundle that is sent to me as well as hang dried to ensure that your hair has no heat damage and is in pristine condition for your enjoyment.

6.) Why isn't every bundle of wavy, curly or straight exactly alike?

This is because every person is not the same. When dealing with raw hair you have to keep in mind that each bundle is coming from a single person. So, with that being said each bundle color will be different (typically from a #1/#1B up to a #2 sometimes #4) but usually a shade of dark brown. Each bundle texture is different because no two people have the exact same curl pattern. So, what I make sure to do is make sure that bundles that are ordered together are extremely similar in texture and pattern to the best of my ability.

7.) Why are there some dead ends/split ends on my bundles?

This is because once again this is raw hair that comes from India. Therefore it is what? C'mon everyone, one more time for those in the back, raw and unprocessed. This is a sign that you have raw untouched hair and is about to change your life. If you see a bundle of hair that is uniform and has no split ends it is processed chemically and has some kind of a silicon coating making the ends stick together. This makes for a texture that is a standard way (body wave, mink, kinky curly).
